The Business Mentoring Sessions initiative organized by Marie Curie-Sklodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin has been honoured with the European Commission award on promotion of entrepreneurship!

The European Enterprise Promotion Awards competition identifies and recognizes the best promoters of enterprise and entrepreneurship in Europe. It showcases the best principles and practices in entrepreneurship, raises public awareness of the role of entrepreneurs, and encourages and inspires potential entrepreneurs.

The Business Mentoring Sessions initiative is coordinated by the Plenipotentiary of the Rector of UMCS for the Internationalization of Education – Dr. Ewelina Panas within the UMCS Welcome Center in cooperation with the Lublin Global Community, the EPI – European Pact for Integration organization and the Free Lublin Association.

Business Mentoring Sessions is an initiative to create a cooperation platform, whose main objective is to inspire foreign students to pursue their professional future in Lublin and the surrounding region, but also to strengthen the social responsibility of local entrepreneurs by acting as business mentors for the multicultural student community. Events within the Business Mentoring Sessions are organized in the form of workshops, training sessions, and mentoring meetings.

The award ceremony will take place on 28 November in Prague.
