Spaces for studying, Parma Città Universitaria and city associations for university students
As part of the projects of "Parma Città Universitaria", the city associations make their municipal spaces available to support university students in the difficult moment caused by the pandemic.
To offer new study spaces to all university students who have chosen Parma as a place to study: this is the objective of the appeal, born from a discussion between the City Council, the University of Parma and the Student Council within the projects of "Parma Città Universitaria", launched to the city associations present in the municipal premises, which have readily made themselves available.
In the current situation, which has led to a new way of living the city and the university, it is in fact necessary to rethink the activities while maintaining an adequate distance and creating new spaces for students in an organized and coordinated way so as to ensure a safe space for everyone.
Intercral Parma Aps, Associazione Provinciale LILT Parma Aps, Andos Parma Odv, Help for Children Parma Odv, Vita Aps and Circolo Giovane Italia Aps will therefore make available, each according to their possibilities, at various times and by reservation, the municipal spaces in which they carry out their activities, some also equipped with the possibility of wifi connection.
Dialogue with the territory and its realities is one of the cornerstones of "Parma University City", the agreement signed by the City and the University in May 2019 with the aim of filling even more substance to a concept that does not want to be just a slogan but concrete practice: at this stage the goal is to encourage the meeting between the many associations of our city and university students. A wide-ranging project, born from the awareness of how much the profound university vocation of Parma represents a value for the fabric of the city in every area.
Associations interested in joining the initiative can communicate their availability by writing to the Deputy Mayor of the City.
