LMI4VET addresses the difficulty that organisations encounter in using Labour Market Information (LMI) to design effective training for vulnerable groups. Without the necessary tools and methodologies to assess employment trends and skills gaps, many training programs fail to prepare individuals for meaningful job opportunities.
This project aims to change that by equipping NGOs and VET providers with practical guidelines, tools, and methodologies to analyse labour market trends. By doing so, LMI4VET will enable these organisations to create training programs that respond to market needs, helping vulnerable populations improve their employability and livelihoods.
The project is coordinated by Prospektiker from Spain and involves a consortium of 10 research and social partners from across Europe, including: UNIMIB (Italy), LISER (Luxembourg), IWAK (Germany), SARTU (Spain), GAL Freidorf (Romania), Piazza dei Mestieri (Italy), Digital Inclusion (Luxembourg), and LAG (Germany).
By participating in LMI4VET, the West University of Timișoara is reinforcing its commitment to fostering innovation and inclusion in education and research. This project highlights the university’s role in addressing societal challenges and in shaping a more responsive vocational education system.
