The CITT has been specifically designed to serve as a pivotal centre of innovation within the community. It provides state-of-the-art services in three critical areas: Digital (including Digital Economy and Space Technologies), Green (focusing on Environment and Eco-technologies), and Wellbeing (covering Health – Prevention, Diagnosis, and Advanced Treatment).
The centre combines the latest advancements in technology with a strong service offering which includes intellectual property consultancy, technology transfer assistance, and sustainable development strategies. Among the facilities installed at the centre are advanced technological labs and collaborative workspaces designed to sustain innovation and facilitate effective partnerships between the university and industry.
The inclusion of UVT’s CITT in the ReNITT network allows it to participate in large-scale national and international projects, enhancing both academic pursuits and practical applications. This integration supports the transfer of knowledge and technologies between the university and industry, driving forward regional development and technological advancement.
In addition to being a regional hub for technology transfer, the CITT at UVT is a centre supporting ongoing education and community engagement, offering training sessions, workshops, and seminars aimed at promoting innovative thinking and entrepreneurial skills.
Funded with the support of national educational and technological initiatives, the CITT is prepared to make significant contributions to the fields of digital technology, environmental sustainability, and healthcare innovation.
